Summary

 

It is incredibly rewarding to see the progress students make. As they improve, they are better able to function and converse in society, giving them greater freedom and reducing their fear.
It is so much more than learning the English language; it is giving independence and freedom.

In this module you learned about some general characteristics of adult ESL learners, and the many factors that may affect how they acquire English skills. You were also introduced to the VAKT learning style model and the three dominant senses involved in the learning process.
