How the Training Works

Each training module contains your lesson and other resources, as well as optional reading. If there are videos to watch, they will appear along with the module content. At the end of each lesson, you can complete the self-test on paper if you print out your lesson PDFs, or complete it online if you have access. When you’ve completed the Assistant Applicator Core Training and feel ready, visit the Exam page to test your knowledge. If you pass with 75% or greater, you will be issued a statement of completion.

When you are hired as an assistant applicator, you can present your course completion statement to your employer. Your employer can keep this record on file to show that you have successfully met the Ministry training requirements. Regulation requires that complete Ministry-approved training within 12 months before the first application of pesticide in a calendar year.
