Summary

Exploring each other’s cultural differences is an important part of becoming comfortable with everyday life in a new country. It makes me appreciate the courage and determination new citizens have to leave their homes to move to Canada. If the time I spend helping someone learn English makes a newcomer to Canada feel welcome and comfortable in my community it is time well spent.
