The Principles of Early Learning

The Early Learning Framework lists two sets of learning principles

• The First Peoples Principles of Learning
• The Early Learning Framework Principles

Both sets of principles are important parts of the B.C. Education Curriculum and the Early Learning Framework.

The First Peoples Principles of Learning come from the shared wisdom of Indigenous Elders. The principles reflect Indigenous views, knowledge, values, and understandings.
