The reflective questions in this course are designed to invite you to be curious and engage in inquiry- based practice in order to challenge yourself to see and think differently. There are no right or wrong answers to these questions.
Reflective Questions
You have read about the vision for early learning. Think about what you might like to change in your early care and learning setting or school, and in your own practice, to support the vision of respectfully living and learning together. Think about the following.
- Is your setting or school a place where community members are welcome to share their values and ideas?
- Is your setting or school a place where children and educators can explore many ways of learning?
- How does government and the community support the vision in your setting or school?
- How do you promote and contribute to reconciliation, healing, and justice?
Consider how these aspects impact members of your own early care and learning setting or school.
